ALVAN COMMUINTY EXPERIENCES STRIKE DANGER AS THE PROVOST OF THE COLLEGE REFUSE TO RETIRE.

The entire community of Alvan ikoku federal college of education, owerri, embarks on a week warning strike, which started on Wednesday 3rd, as some groups of the community agitate for the retirement and handover power and authority of the provost of the institution to another person.
Information was gotten that the provost of the institution- prof.mrs Blessing Ijioma had for over many years completed her terms in the office but has refuse to vacant for change of power and administration. Nevertheless some group of lecturers have gone for the issue and ask her to resign for some other appointed person to continue. on the contrary the woman ( prof. mrs ijioma) from Mbaise has acclaimed that she was privileged and honored by the ministry of Education to complete another 10 months in office after the last time extra months given to her.
The institution and its lay members have taken on their own a serious warning strike for her to resign and leave office before the expiration of this strike which will be on Wednesday 9th of August 2017.
