A man known asEsau Ihemeje was manhandled by the youths of Ndiolumbe, Nvosi in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government of Abia State, on the suspicion that he is a wizard. The youths dragged him out of his home at about 4am and gave him the beating of his life on May 2nd.
They accused him of causing calamities in their community.
Meanwhile an NGO named Foundation For Environmental Rights, Advocacy & Development (FENRAD), has petitioned the Inspector General of Police over the manhandling of Ihemeje.
